Here’s what our Interns are saying about our Hearts of Kindness Campaign

In today's fast-paced, digital world, kindness often feels like an afterthought. But what if we could change that narrative? The WorldEd Foundation's "Hearts of Kindness" campaign aims to spread virtual kindness and compassion, harnessing the power of small actions to create a ripple effect that reaches far beyond individual screens.

The campaign promotes virtual kindness among youth, aligning with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), which emphasizes mental and emotional wellness. Participants—students, educators, parents, and community leaders—will engage in creative and impactful activities that showcase the transformative power of empathy in building stronger, more inclusive communities.

From creating uplifting messages to crafting virtual kindness videos, each activity reminds us that kindness is a powerful tool in building a supportive digital environment. It’s not just about being kind online; it’s about fostering a culture of empathy that has real-world impacts on mental health and well-being.

By joining this campaign, you can help foster a culture of compassion, one message at a time. Together, we can demonstrate how small acts of kindness can make a big difference, contributing to a more empathetic, inclusive, and healthier digital world.

Let’s use our platforms to spread kindness, not just content.

Over the last couple of months, I have been working as an Event Planning & Coordination intern at the WorldEd Foundation. WorldEd is an internationally based foundation, focused on bringing education and other resources to children worldwide. Recently, my focus has been developing and promoting our newest campaign, the Hearts of Kindness Campaign. The Hearts of Kindness Campaign is focused on emphasizing the importance of digital citizenship and goodwill to younger children.

In a time where technology and social media play an integral role in people's lives, maintaining respectful and compassionate interactions online is extremely vital. This is an especially critical skill for the new generations of today, who are growing up with social media from an extremely early age. The campaign begins in early November and takes participants up until the start of December.

The students involved will partake in various activities, including creating inspirational messages, doing research, creating videos, and ultimately forming a cumulative presentation demonstrating what they have learned over the month. All schools and communities with children aged 12+ are welcome to join! Registration closes on October 30th, and all participants will receive certificates and reference letters for their involvement.
