10 Key Actions for 2024
Leveraging Technology for Education Access
We will continue to harness the power of technology to provide quality education to underserved communities. We aim to bridge the educational divide and ensure that all students have access to education worldwide.
Promoting Sustainable Development Goals
Through our BetterFutures program, we align our initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). This year, we will focus on integrating education with environmental sustainability, social equity, and economic development to create a more just and sustainable world.
Fostering Global Citizenship
Our United Voices Project will continue to promote inclusion, understanding, and tolerance among young people worldwide. The 2024 edition, "Embracing Inclusion and Tolerance," will engage students aged 13-17 in activities that challenge stereotypes and promote mutual respect.
Empowering Young Leaders
The Sustainability & Human Rights Workshop will empower young leaders by combining sustainability with the core principles of universal human rights. This workshop aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to make a lasting impact on their communities.
The "Hearts of Kindness" campaign aims to empower young people to become advocates for virtual kindness and demonstrate the transformative power of small acts of compassion in achieving global sustainability goals.
Preparing for Future Job Markets
Our Skills for the Future Workshop will address the changing job landscape by focusing on essential soft skills such as communication, critical thinking, and adaptability. This workshop will prepare participants for the dynamic and evolving future workplace.
Innovating Education Practices
The Futures Thinking in Education Seminar will empower educators and institutions to adopt forward-thinking education methods. By exploring future-focused educational initiatives and emerging technologies, we will prepare for future challenges and opportunities in education.
Celebrating and Empowering Women in Education
On International Women's Day, March 8th, 2024, we will celebrate and empower women in K-12 education through our EmpowerHer in Education initiative. This event will amplify the voices of women educators and work towards a more inclusive future.
Transforming Teaching Methods
The TechEd Innovators series will provide public-school educators with interactive, peer-led workshops focused on innovative teaching methods and technology integration. These sessions will foster a future-focused education environment.
Strengthening Partnerships for Impact
We welcome schools and educational institutions to join our Global Fellowship Program, collaborating on meaningful projects related to education and the UN SDGs. Additionally, companies, NGOs, non-profits, and governments can partner with us through the Empower4Change Alliance to run impactful projects in their fields of expertise.
